Privacy StatementThe Gravitt Group and JohnGravitt.com take privacy and data collection very seriously. We hate SPAM and will never sell your email to anyone or make it available to partners. You will always have the option to unsubscribe to any course or newsletter that you have signed up for. We hate spam so much that we created our own tools for newsletter management and e-course management so that your emails are safe from farming by a third party vendor. We hate autoresponders as well. If you send an email to info@thegravittgroup, sales@thegravittgroup or any of our email addresses, your email will reach a human. It may take some time, but we will get back to you. Your email will not be automatically added to any subscription or autoresponder so that you keep hearing from us until you unsubscribe. That's just annoying. "E-mail this to a friend" ServiceOur site users may choose to electronically forward a link, page, or documents to someone else by clicking "e-mail this to a friend". The user must provide their email address, as well as that of the recipient. This information is used only in the case of transmission errors and, of course, to let the recipient know who sent the email. The information is not used for any other purpose and we don't store these email addresses. CookiesWe may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. The Gravitt Group uses cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above). In addition, cookies are oftentimes necessary to provide proper functioning of the website. For example, cookies allow us to display "what's new" information that is truly new since the last time you visited. You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you've set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site. Usage trackingWe check and read logs to tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. We do break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser). This lets us see what operating systems people are using and we like to see which states and countries are visiting our websites. This information is somehow gathered by looking at you IP addresses. It doesn't show us specific information about individual users. We do not store or use these IP addresses. We sometimes track and catalogs the search terms that users enter in our Search function, but this tracking is never associated with individual users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you. LinksWe do link to other sites and we cannot control what they do with your emails should you visit and give them your email address. Any merchants we affiliate with require your email address to verify billing information and communicate on shipping status. As we grow in our partnerships and alliances, we may revise this policy statement but it won't include selling your emails to anyone. If we change our policies, we'll let you know. If you have questions about our privacy practices, please email john@thegravittgroup.com. |
